So, I finally got around to messing with this “John Gabana” thing everyone’s been talking about. Honestly, I was kinda clueless at first, but hey, that’s part of the fun, right?
Getting Started
First things first, I needed to figure out what I wanted to actually do. Just playing around aimlessly wasn’t gonna cut it. I needed a goal. I decided to try building a simple, basic… something. I didn’t even know excatly.
The Messy Middle
This is where things got interesting, and by “interesting,” I mean frustrating. I spent a good chunk of time just googling stuff. Seriously, my search history was a disaster. I ran into a bunch of problems:
- Problem 1: I totally messed up the initial setup. I didn’t follow the correct order.
- Problem 2: Realized something, I was missing a key component. No idea how I missed it, it was pretty obvious in retrospect.
- Problem 3: Tried a few different ways of get it. And after a while,I got it worked.
It involved a lot of trial and error, and I definitely wanted to throw my computer out the window a few times. But I kept at it, mostly because I’m stubborn.I changed many ways to keep going on.
Finally figure it out
After all that struggle, I finally got something working! It wasn’t perfect, not even close, but it was something. I actually felt pretty proud of myself, even though it was probably the most basic thing ever.I did it.
I tested it a couple of times, made a few tweaks, and it felt so good.
What I Learned
Don’t be afraid to get your hands dirty and experiment. It’s okay to mess up, that’s how you learn. And, Google is your best friend. Seriously, don’t be afraid to use it.
And most importantly, I had a good experience, even though I failed a couple of times.
