Okay, so I’ve been totally obsessed with fashion week lately, and Carolina Herrera’s show was a major highlight. I just had to try to recreate some of that magic myself, even if it’s just in my own little way. Here’s how I went about it.

First, I watched the show online, like, three times. I needed to really soak it all in. I was paying close attention to the colors, the silhouettes, and the overall vibe. It was all so elegant and sophisticated, but with a modern twist.
Digging Through My Closet
Next, I raided my own closet. I knew I wouldn’t have anything exactly like the runway pieces, but I was looking for items that had a similar feel. I was searching for things like:
- Bold colors: Carolina Herrera loves a good pop of color, so I was looking for anything in bright reds, yellows, or blues.
- Classic shapes: Think A-line skirts, tailored pants, and crisp button-down shirts.
- Statement accessories: Big earrings, chunky necklaces, and colorful scarves were all on my radar.
I actually had to change outfits and try styles a couple of times, the first set was too plain for a typical Carolina Herrera look.
Putting It All Together
Once I had a few potential pieces, I started experimenting with different combinations. I tried on different outfits, mixing and matching until I found something that felt right. It was all about finding that balance between classic and modern, and making sure the colors and shapes worked well together.
The Final Look
In the end, I settled on an outfit that I felt really captured the Carolina Herrera spirit. It wasn’t a perfect replica, of course, but it was my own interpretation of the look, and I felt amazing wearing it!

This whole process was so much fun! It really pushed me to think creatively about my own wardrobe and to try new things. And even though I’m not a fashion designer, I felt like I got to experience a little bit of that fashion week magic. I might even try something like it again.
