Okay, so I’ve been obsessed with Tom Ford lately, and I finally decided to recreate one of his iconic runway looks. Let me tell you, it was a journey!

Getting Started
First, I scoured the internet for pictures and videos of the Tom Ford show I wanted to emulate. I needed to really understand the vibe, the colors, the textures…everything.
Next, I dug through my own makeup collection. I was surprised by how many similar shades I already owned! I did have to make a quick trip to the store for a few specific items, like a really good black eyeliner and some false lashes, It feels like I have already got everything.
The Makeup Process
I started with the base. I prepped my skin with moisturizer and primer, then applied a medium-coverage foundation. Tom Ford looks are always about flawless, sculpted skin, so I spent extra time on this step.
- Contouring: I used a cream contour to really chisel out my cheekbones and jawline. Then, I set everything with a translucent powder.
- Eyes: This was the fun part! The look I was going for had a smoky, sultry eye. I started with a neutral base, then built up the intensity with darker browns and a touch of black in the outer corners. Lots of blending! I also use some shimmer shadows, It looks so charming.
- Eyeliner: A sharp, winged liner was key. I used a gel liner and an angled brush to get that perfect flick. It took a few tries, but I finally got it!
- Lashes: I applied a pair of dramatic false lashes to really amp up the look. It’s necessary.
- Lips: I opted for a nude lipstick with a glossy finish. The focus was definitely on the eyes.
Finishing Touches
Once the makeup was done, I styled my hair in sleek, straight look. I added some statement jewelry and a simple black outfit to complete the Tom Ford vibe. I love this kind of Style!
The Result
Honestly, I was pretty impressed with myself! It wasn’t a perfect replica, but I definitely captured the essence of the Tom Ford show. It felt amazing to step outside my comfort zone and try something new. I’ll definitely be doing this again!
