Okay, so I wanted to dive into this whole “2012 fashion” thing. I remember that year being kind of a blur of bright colors, so I wanted to see what was actually going on.
Digging Through the Past
First, I started by just Googling “2012 fashion trends.” Lots of pictures, lots of articles. I started to get a feel for what was popular back then.
It looked like people were very brave with their colour choices!
Getting Specific
Then I try looking into more specific styles that were present at the time
- Neon everything.
- I saw a lot of color blocking like outfits that were, say, a bright pink top with electric blue pants.
- Suits! I find that full-on suits, like, a complete matching suit in one bright color or even a wild print, were a big deal.
Putting it Together
So, after looking at all this stuff, I started to feel things out.
I went through my closet and realized I didn’t own anything nearly that bright at the time, haha! But I kind of get the appeal now. It’s about being bold and having fun with your clothes.
It’s not really my style, maybe but it’s cool to see how fashion changes and how people express themselves through what they wear.
