Okay, so I saw everyone talking about Jennifer Aniston’s look at the 2024 Golden Globes, and I just had to try and recreate it. I mean, she looked absolutely stunning, right?

The Inspiration
First things first, I spent a good chunk of time just staring at pictures of her from the event. I needed to really get the vibe. It wasn’t just the dress – it was the whole package: the hair, the makeup, the effortless confidence.
The Hair
This was the biggest challenge for me. I’m no hairstylist, but I’m pretty decent with a curling iron. I started by washing and blow-drying my hair, making sure it was super smooth.
- Then, I sectioned my hair and used a medium-barrel curling iron to create loose waves.
- I made sure to curl away from my face, just like Jen’s style.
- After curling each section, I gently brushed through the curls to loosen them up and make them look more natural.
- I am not very skilled, but I really tried many times.
The key, I think, was to not make the curls too perfect. They needed to look a little undone, a little beachy.
The Makeup
Jen’s makeup was pretty minimal, which is totally my style. I went for a “no-makeup makeup” look, focusing on glowy skin and subtle definition. I used:
- a light-coverage foundation
- a touch of bronzer
- a peachy blush
- some nude eyeshadow
- and finished off with a couple of coats of mascara, and a nude lip color
The Overall Vibe
Honestly, the most important part of recreating this look was just channeling Jen’s confidence. I put on a simple black dress, stood up straight, and tried to embody her effortless chic. It’s amazing how much a little confidence can elevate any look.

It was a fun experiment! I think it’s inspiring how she manages to look so timeless and chic. I am very happy with my results.
