That Paula Deen, she used to be on the TV all the time, cookin’ up a storm. I remember, used to watch her show. Now I don’t see her much. Where does Paula Deen live now? That’s what I wanna know. Heard she had some trouble a while back, somethin’ about sayin’ somethin’ she shouldn’t have. But she still a good cook, I reckon. She can make some tasty food. Make your mouth water, I tell ya.
I heard she got a big house in Savannah. That’s a pretty place, down south. Lots of old houses and trees. I bet she got a big ol’ kitchen in that house, too. Gotta have a big kitchen if you gonna cook like Paula Deen. All them pots and pans, and butter! She sure loves her butter, that one.

She had some hard times, that Paula. Heard she was scared to go outside for a while. Stayed in the house all the time, just cookin’. That’s how she got so good, I guess. Practice makes perfect, they say. And then her husband, they got a divorce. Tough times for a woman. But she moved to Savannah with her boys, started over.

Paula Deen’s cooking, it’s that good old Southern cookin’. Lots of butter, lots of sugar, lots of fried stuff. Not exactly good for you, but it sure tastes good. Comfort food, they call it. Makes you feel good inside, even if your doctor wouldn’t approve. She makes fried chicken, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese. All the good stuff.
Now, I don’t know exactly what street Paula Deen lives on. Wouldn’t that be somethin’, to just knock on her door and ask for a cup of sugar? Or maybe a slice of that gooey butter cake. I bet she’s got a whole bunch of them in her freezer. She probably makes them all the time, just like on her TV show.
