This here bazaar magazine, it’s something else, I tell ya. I got me a subscription a while back. Thought it’d be nice to look at some pretty pictures, you know?
Well, I seen this ad, said I could get it for cheap. Said bazaar magazine subscription was on sale. Sounded good to me! I like a good bargain, don’t you? So, I went ahead and signed myself up.
Getting That Magazine
Getting that magazine subscription was easy as pie. Just had to tell ’em where I lived and all that. Then I had to give them my money. I paid for a whole year! It were a lot of money, but I had some extra that time so I did it anyway.
They said I’d get a magazine in the mail every month. And I did! First one came, and I was so excited. I sat right down and looked at all them pages. Lots of fancy clothes and shiny things in there. Things I’d never wear, mind you, but still nice to look at.
What’s in That Bazaar Magazine?
- Lots of pictures of clothes. So many dresses!
- Pictures of them skinny models. They need to eat more, I reckon.
- Stuff about makeup and hair. I don’t use much makeup, just a little lipstick sometimes.
- Stories about famous people. Don’t know who half of ’em are, but it’s fun to read about ’em anyway.
- Ads. So many ads! Trying to sell you everything under the sun.
They got all kinds of things in that bazaar magazine. Pictures of fancy folks wearin’ clothes that cost more than my whole house, probably! And makeup, Lord have mercy, the makeup they try to sell you. I got my own ways of lookin’ pretty, don’t need all that fancy stuff. My skin is good, I work outside a lot, so it is healthy.
Then they got these stories about famous people. Movie stars and singers and whatnot. I don’t rightly know who most of ’em are. Young folks, mostly. But it’s still fun to read about their lives. Seems like they got a lot of drama, those famous folks. Always something going on. It makes my life seem boring, but I don’t mind too much. I like my life, it’s easy.
Is the Bazaar Magazine Subscription Worth It?
Now, the big question: is that bazaar magazine subscription worth the money? Well, that depends, I reckon. If you like lookin’ at pretty pictures and readin’ about fancy things, then yeah, it’s probably worth it. If you got money to spare.
Me, I don’t know. It’s nice to have somethin’ to look at on a rainy day. But I don’t really need it. I could find other things to do. Like knit, or cook, or visit with the neighbor. I could just look at the news, also it is free.
I got other magazines that I like better, to be honest. Ones with recipes and gardenin’ tips. Things I can actually use. This bazaar magazine, it’s more for dreamin’, I guess. Dreamin’ about a life I’ll never have. I am too old to dream, I just want practical things that I can use now.
Sometimes they got a coupon in the magazine. You can use it to get a discount on somethin’. But most of the time, it’s for stuff I don’t need. Like fancy perfume or expensive shoes. I did not use any of the coupons.
If you want to give somebody a bazaar magazine subscription, that might be a good present, and it will last a whole year! But make sure that person like this kind of magazine. Otherwise it is a waste of money.
Canceling That Subscription
I heard from someone that you can call them if you want to stop getting the magazine. I think they said you can cancel it, if you don’t want to get it anymore. I thought about it, maybe I will do that. I don’t know yet. I have a few months left on my subscription so I have time to think.
There was a number, I think I saw it in the magazine somewhere. You call that number and tell ’em you want to cancel. Then they’ll stop sendin’ it to you. And they won’t charge you no more money. That’s what I heard, anyway. I don’t know if that’s really true. I hope it is.
So, that’s my story about that bazaar magazine subscription. It is a lot of money, but you get a magazine every month for a whole year. It’s a lot of pretty pictures. And stories about people I don’t know. Maybe you will like it if you want to try it. If you don’t like it, you can call to cancel and they won’t charge you more money.
