Alright, let’s talk about this Nick’s house, eh? Lots of folks wonderin’ who lives there, what’s the big deal. Now, this Nick, he ain’t some fancy pants himself. His house, they say it’s small, nothin’ special. “Squeezed between” them big mansions, like a little ol’ hen between two fat roosters. He was a writer, they say, and worked with money, bonds or somethin’. Sounds like a decent enough fella, tryin’ to make a livin’. But he got mixed up with that Gatsby and his drama.
Then I heard tell that Nick, he up and sold his house. Got some fella, Michael Wylie, to do it for him. Maybe he got tired of all the fuss, all them rich folks and their problems. Moved into some loft, put all his stuff in storage. Can’t say I blame him. Sometimes it’s best to just pack up and move on, find a quieter place, you know?
But hold on, there’s more to this Nick’s house story. Seems like there’s another Nick, or maybe it’s a different house altogether. This one they called Nick’s House, or somethin’ like Y-Not III. It was a bar, see? Tried to make it all fancy, like them ’70s bars, but it didn’t work out. They tore it down, they say. Just gone. Shows ya, money and fancy ideas don’t always last.

Made a good life for herself, it seems.
So, who lives in Nick’s house? Well, it depends on which Nick you’re talkin’ about, see? There’s the Nick from that Gatsby story, the one with the small house and the rich neighbors. Then there’s that bar, Nick’s House, that’s gone now. And then there’s Stevie Nicks, the singer, with her own place. Lots of Nicks, lots of houses. It’s enough to make your head spin, ain’t it?
But that’s how it is, I guess. People come and go, houses get sold, bars get torn down. Life goes on. And us folks, we just keep hearin’ the stories, tryin’ to make sense of it all. So next time you hear about Nick’s house, you just remember, there’s more than one story to tell.
