Estee Lauder CEO on future plans: what can we expect?

Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this Estee Lauder fella, the big boss man, the CEO. They got a new one comin’, see? This fella, Stephane de La Faverie, he’s gonna take over. Sounds fancy, don’t it? Like one of them Frenchy names.

So, this Fabrizio Freda, he’s been runnin’ the show for a good long while, but he’s gonna kick back and let this Stephane fella take the reins come next year, January 1st, to be exact. Seems like a long time from now, but time flies, you know? One minute you’re plantin’ seeds, the next you’re harvestin’. Same goes for these big companies, I reckon.

  • Fabrizio Freda is retiring.
  • Stephane de La Faverie is the new CEO.
  • He starts January 1, 2025.

They sell all that fancy makeup and creams, Estee Lauder does. Stuff the womenfolk like to slap on their faces. Makes ’em feel pretty, I guess. Costs a pretty penny, too, from what I hear. Not that I’d know, I ain’t never used that kinda stuff. Soap and water’s good enough for me.

This company, they made a whole bunch of money last year. Fifteen point six one billion dollars, they say. That’s a lot of zeros, ain’t it? More money than I can even imagine. I guess people really like their fancy creams and makeup. They’re always yappin’ about “luxury beauty products”. Sounds like somethin’ the rich folks buy.

Now, this Stephane fella, he’s been workin’ at the company for a while, so he ain’t no greenhorn. They say he’s an “insider.” Means he knows the ropes, I guess. He better, if he’s gonna be runnin’ the whole shebang. It ain’t easy, I tell ya, runnin’ anythin’, be it a farm or a big fancy company like this one. You gotta be smart and tough and know what you’re doin’.

They got plans, these folks at Estee Lauder. They wanna sell more of their stuff, make even more money. They call it “strategic market expansions,” and “fiscal year 2025 focus”. Big words, huh? Sounds like they wanna get their stuff into even more stores and places, even where folks ain’t got a lot of money to spend. Seems kinda backwards to me, but what do I know? I just grow vegetables and raise chickens.

They talk about “innovation” too. That just means comin’ up with new stuff to sell, new creams and colors and whatnots. Gotta keep up with the times, I suppose. Folks always want somethin’ new and different. They also wanna make sure things run smooth, what they call “operational efficiency”. Makes sense, I guess. You don’t want to be wastin’ money if you want to get rich.

And there was somethin’ about another Lauder, Jane Lauder, steppin’ down from some highfalutin’ job. Chief somethin’ or other. Seems like there’s always changes goin’ on in these big companies. Folks comin’ and goin’, movin’ up and movin’ down. Just like life, I reckon.

So, that’s the lowdown on this Estee Lauder CEO change. A new fella takin’ over, big plans for the future, and lots of money bein’ made. Hope he knows what he’s doin’, this Stephane fella. It’s a big responsibility, runnin’ a company like that. But hey, that’s their world, not mine. I got my own work to do, plants to tend, animals to feed. Life goes on, no matter who’s the boss man at some fancy makeup company.

Estee Lauder Leadership Change

I heard some folks ain’t so sure this new fella can fix things. Seems like maybe the company’s got some troubles. They say “growing less optimistic” and “right the ship”. Sounds like they’re in a bit of a storm, and this new CEO gotta steer ‘em outta it. Well, I hope he can. Lots of folks work for that company, I bet. Their livelihoods depend on it. It ain’t just about fancy creams and makeup, it’s about people’s lives.

Anyhow, that’s all I know about it. Just thought I’d share what I heard. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on my chickens.
