Okay, so the other day I got curious about Donald Trump’s family. You know, like, who’s who and how everyone’s connected. It seemed simple enough, I really had no idea, So I figured, why not just chart it out? Make a little family tree for myself, and I would be able to see it visually.

Digging for Information

First, I started by gathering some basic info. You know, just good old-fashioned web searching. I typed in things like “Donald Trump wives,” “Donald Trump children,” that sort of stuff. I found a bunch of articles, Wikipedia pages, and even some dedicated genealogy sites.

I opened up a simple document – just a plain text editor to copy anything I might use. I started jotting down names, birthdates, marriage dates… anything that seemed relevant. It was kind of messy at first, just a big list of facts, but it was a start.

Then it got a bit trickier. I had to piece together who was married to whom, in what order, and which kids belonged to which parents. So I started sketching things out on a piece of paper, linking the family relationships I was reading. It was a lot of back-and-forth, checking and double-checking to make sure I had it right.

Structure

After I had a rough idea of the main branches, I decided to organize it a bit better. I thought about using some fancy family tree software, but honestly, it felt like overkill for this little project. Instead, I just used bullet points.

  • Donald Trump
  • Spouse 1: Ivana Trump (m. 1977-1992)
    • Child 1: Donald Trump Jr.
    • Child 2: Ivanka Trump
    • Child 3: Eric Trump
  • Spouse 2: Marla Maples (m. 1993-1999)
    • Child 4: Tiffany Trump
  • Spouse 3: Melania Trump (m. 2005-present)
    • Child 5: Barron Trump

See? Pretty straightforward. I used indentation to show the different generations and relationships. It’s not the prettiest thing in the world, but it gets the job done.

The Result

So, that’s basically it. I went from knowing next to nothing about the Trump family to having a clear, organized little chart. It took a bit of searching and sorting, but it wasn’t rocket science. Now, I can easily see how everyone’s connected. Maybe I’ll add some pictures later, or expand it with more details, but for now, I’m happy with my little Trump family tree.
