So, I heard some chatter about the new Cynthia Rowley stuff for Spring/Summer ’25. Always liked her vibe, kinda fun, kinda sporty, but still fashion, you know? Decided I should check it out myself, see what the fuss was about.

Getting Started
First thing, I went online. Didn’t have an invite to any fancy show, obviously. Just me and my laptop. Started searching around, looking for photos, maybe some video clips. Took a little digging, scrolling through fashion sites and social media feeds. Finally found a good set of pictures showing the whole collection. Poured myself a coffee and settled in to have a proper look.
First Impressions
Okay, scrolling through the first few looks… pretty cool. Definitely got that Cynthia Rowley feel right away. Lots of color, which I expected. Some pieces looked really easy to wear, almost casual, but then BAM, something really dressed up or kinda quirky would pop up. It wasn’t just one single note, which kept things interesting.
- Lots of brights, but some softer tones too.
- Interesting shapes, some flowy, some more structured.
- Definitely saw that surf/beach influence she often has.
Digging a Little Deeper
Then I started going back through, looking closer this time. Zoomed in on some details. I’m always curious about the fabrics, even just looking at photos. Some looked light and airy, perfect for warm weather. Others seemed to have more texture, maybe sequins or some kind of special finish? Hard to tell perfectly from a screen, but I tried to get a sense of it.
There was this one dress, kind of a wetsuit-inspired top but then it went into this big, floaty skirt. That stuck with me. It felt very her. Bold choice. I spent a bit thinking about where someone would actually wear that. Maybe a cool party? Definitely makes a statement.
Also noticed some really fun prints. Not just florals, but some more graphic things. Tried to figure out the patterns. Are those waves? Abstract shapes? It’s like a little puzzle sometimes.

Overall Vibe and Thoughts
After spending maybe half an hour just looking and thinking, I felt I got a decent handle on it. The collection felt optimistic, energetic. Playful, for sure. It wasn’t taking itself too seriously, which I appreciate. It’s clothes to have fun in, move in. That’s the feeling I got.
Did I love every single piece? Nah, probably not. Some things felt a bit too young for me, maybe, or just not my personal style. But overall, the practice of just sitting down, looking closely, and forming my own opinion without reading a bunch of reviews first? It was pretty satisfying. Made me feel connected to it in my own way. Definitely saw a few things I’d happily wear if I had the chance.
