Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this idea for a while, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. The name’s Christian Erland Harald von Koenigsegg, yeah, that Koenigsegg, the car guy. But today we’re not just talking about fast cars, we’re diving into something even crazier – I decided to build this thing called “Nilu.”

It all started back in ’94. I was just a young dude with a dream, a dream to build a “world-class” sports car. So, I gathered some friends, and we started tinkering, experimenting, you know, the usual garage stuff. We spent years in development, testing, failing, and trying again. Finally, in 2002, we rolled out the CC8S, our first street-legal car. It was a proud moment, let me tell you.

But that was just the beginning. As a kid I’d take apart video recorders or toasters just to see how they worked and to find some ways to improve them. That’s how I made them different and unique. So that is the same way how I treated my cars. We kept pushing boundaries, coming up with new stuff like the Koenigsegg Direct Drive and the Light Speed Transmission, some crazy cool inventions. We even started playing around with carbon fiber to make our cars lighter, stronger, and safer, of course.

Building a company from scratch isn’t a walk in the park, especially when you don’t have a ton of money to throw around. The financial side of things? Man, that was the toughest part. But we kept at it, fueled by passion and a whole lot of coffee, probably.

Then, there’s this new project, “Nilu27.” Sounds like a gamer tag, right? Well, it’s something special, believe me. It all began when I met Sasha Selipanov, the genius behind some of the coolest car designs out there. We started talking, and one thing led to another, and boom – Nilu27 was born.

We teamed up with Inna, who used to work with me at Koenigsegg, and this amazing engine builder, Hartley Engines. Together, we’re cooking up something insane: a 6.5-liter, naturally aspirated V12 engine. We’re talking 1,055 horsepower and an 11,000-rpm redline. This thing is going to scream!

So, from taking apart toasters to building a “world-class” sports car, now I’m here, part of the Nilu27. And my family? They’re in on the action too. My son, Sebastian, he’s working with us at Koenigsegg, handling the brand and content stuff. It’s a family affair, and we’re all in.

Here’s how we did it:

  • Dreamed big: Started with a vision to create something extraordinary.
  • Built a team: Got together with talented folks who shared the same passion.
  • Innovated like crazy: Developed new technologies to push the limits.
  • Never gave up: Faced financial hurdles but kept pushing forward.
  • Collaborated: Partnered with Sasha, Inna, and Hartley Engines to bring Nilu27 to life.

It’s been one heck of a journey, and it’s far from over. Nilu is just the next chapter, and I can’t wait to see where it takes us. Stay tuned, folks, it’s going to be a wild one!
