Well, howdy there! Let’s gab a bit about this here Vogue September Issue 2024. Folks keep buzzin’ about it, so I figured, why not take a gander myself?

First off, that gal, Blake Lively, is all over the place in this one. Seems like she’s a big deal. They got her posin’ in all sorts of fancy get-ups. Some of ’em look mighty uncomfortable, if you ask me. But I reckon that’s fashion for ya. Always a bit… peculiar.
- They say she’s workin’ with some director fellow, Baz Luhrmann. Never heard of him, but apparently, he’s Blake’s favorite. Good for her, I guess. Always nice to work with folks you like.
- And there’s another fella, Hugh Jackman. He’s in there too. Don’t know much about him neither, but he looks mighty spiffy in his pictures. Clean-shaven and all.
This whole issue, it’s got some kind of theme, see? Somethin’ about bein’ “Hitchcock-inspired.” Now, I ain’t no city slicker, so I had to ask my niece about this Hitchcock fella. Turns out he made movies, spooky ones mostly. So, I guess these fancy clothes are supposed to make you feel a bit… mysterious? Or maybe just chilly. Some of them dresses don’t look warm at all!
There’s this one lady, Virginia Smith, she talks about how they put this whole thing together. Sounds like a whole heap of work. Pickin’ out clothes, takin’ pictures, writin’ stories. Makes my head spin just thinkin’ about it. I’d rather be tendin’ my garden, thank you very much.
Now, they also got a bunch of other articles in there. Stuff about… well, I ain’t quite sure what it’s all about. Lots of big words and fancy talk. There’s somethin’ about “Time’s Arrow,” and a fella named Jez Butterworth. He’s a writer, apparently. Writes plays. I ain’t never seen a play in my life, but I reckon they’re kinda like them picture shows, only live. Must be excitin’ for some folks.
September issue, they call it. Seems like a big deal in the fashion world. I guess it’s when they show off all the new clothes for the fall. Personally, I don’t need no fancy magazine to tell me what to wear. Give me a good pair of overalls and a sturdy shirt, and I’m good to go. But hey, to each their own, right?

Anyway, this Vogue magazine, it’s filled with pretty pictures, that’s for sure. And them clothes, they’re somethin’ else. Not my cup of tea, mostly, but I can appreciate the work that goes into it. It’s like a whole ‘nother world, them fashion folks. They live in a different reality than me and you, that’s for sure.
So, if you’re into all that fancy stuff, go ahead and grab yourself a copy of this Vogue September Issue. You can flip through the pages, look at the pictures, and try to figure out what it all means. Me? I’ll stick to my Sears catalog. At least I know what I’m lookin’ at there!
But I will say this, they put a lot of effort into makin’ this magazine. You can tell. The pictures are sharp, the colors are bright, and the paper is all shiny and smooth. It’s a fancy piece of work, no doubt about it. Just not for the likes of me, I reckon.
And that’s all I gotta say about this Vogue September 2024 issue. It’s got Blake Lively, Hugh Jackman, some Hitchcock fella, and a whole bunch of clothes I wouldn’t be caught dead in. But hey, it’s somethin’ to talk about, ain’t it?
And let me tell ya, that Blake Lively seems like a nice enough gal, even if her clothes do look a bit… out there. I hope she’s stayin’ warm in all them fancy dresses. Fall can get chilly, you know. And that Hugh Jackman fella, well, he’s a handsome one, ain’t he? Reminds me of my Harold when he was younger, bless his heart.

So, there you have it. My take on the Vogue September Issue. Not exactly highfalutin’ analysis, but it’s honest, and that’s what counts, right? Now, if you’ll excuse me, I got some tomatoes to can. That’s somethin’ useful I can do, unlike those fashion folks.
