Well, let me tell you somethin’ about this here Gloaming Drive. Sounds fancy, don’t it? Like somethin’ outta them picture shows. But it ain’t all sunshine and roses, lemme tell ya.
Big House, Big Money
Heard tell there’s a big ol’ house up there, on Gloaming Drive. Ten acres, they say! Can you imagine? Ten acres! That’s more land than old man Johnson’s farm, and he had a whole lotta cows. This house, though, it ain’t for cows. It’s for them rich folks, the ones with more money than sense, I reckon.
They sayin’ this house got four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Three bathrooms! Why, back in my day, we had one outhouse for the whole family, and we was glad to have it! And this house, it’s 3,000 square feet. That’s a whole lotta space to clean, I tell ya. My old house was maybe a quarter of that, and it still took me all day to keep it tidy.
Now, this house, it changed hands a few times. Some singer lady, Cher, somethin’ like that, she bought it back in 2019 for a cool $2 million. Two million! That’s more money than I’ll ever see in my whole life. And now, they tryin’ to sell it again, for over $4 million! Land sakes, these rich folks and their money games, I just don’t understand it.
More Than Just a House, It’s a “Promontory Estate”
They callin’ it a “promontory estate,” whatever that means. Sounds mighty fancy, though. They sayin’ it’s got views of the city, the canyon, and the mountains. Well, I got a view of the cornfield from my porch, and that’s good enough for me. But I guess if you got money to burn, you gotta spend it on somethin’, right?

And it’s at the end of a long private drive. Private, you hear? Guess they don’t want no riff-raff like me pokin’ around. Can’t say I blame ’em. I wouldn’t want me snoopin’ around my place neither, if I had a place like that.
Trouble on Gloaming Drive Too
But it ain’t all peaceful up there on Gloaming Drive. Heard tell there was some trouble the other day. Cops swarmin’ the place, all sirens and lights. Seems like somebody got robbed and needed to go to the hospital. See, even with all that money and fancy houses, trouble can find ya anywhere. Just goes to show, money don’t buy you happiness, or safety, for that matter.
The “Most Noteworthy” Property? I Guess So…
Some folks are sayin’ it’s the “most noteworthy” property in Beverly Hills. Well, I guess if you got that kinda money, you want folks to notice. But me, I’d rather have a good neighbor and a garden full of tomatoes. That’s more important than any fancy view or private drive, if you ask me.
Always Something Going On
Seems like there’s always somethin’ happenin’ on Gloaming Drive. Houses changin’ hands, cops showin’ up, folks talkin’ about how much it costs. It’s a regular circus up there, I tell ya. But me, I’m happy right here in my little house, with my feet on the ground and my head outta the clouds.

So, that’s the story on Gloaming Drive, as far as I know it. Rich folks, big houses, fancy views, and a little bit of trouble thrown in for good measure. It ain’t my cup of tea, but to each their own, I reckon. Me, I’ll stick to my little corner of the world, where things are a little simpler and a whole lot quieter.
Just remember, no matter how much money you got or how big your house is, trouble will find you if it wants to. So, be thankful for what you have and treat people right. That’s all that really matters in the end.
