Okay, so I got hooked on “Emily in Paris”, you know? Like everyone else. And while watching, I kept thinking, man, some of those outfits are really something. Especially the bags and the bright coats Emily wears. Just totally out there sometimes, but kinda fun. So, I figured, let me try and find out what brands they’re actually using.

First thing I did was just, well, watch it again. But this time, I had my phone ready. Every time an outfit caught my eye, I’d pause the show. Tried to get a good look. Made some quick notes like “crazy print dress season 1 ep 3” or “that green bag Emily always has”. My notes were a mess, honestly.
Then I took those messy notes and just started searching online. Typed things like “Emily in Paris fashion brands” or “what jacket did Emily wear in episode 5”. You get a ton of results, obviously. Lots of blogs, magazine articles, fan sites talking about the style.
It took a bit of digging. Some sites just show clothes that look like the show’s style. Not what I wanted. I was looking for the actual brands. Found a few really good sites, though, that seemed to have done their homework. They’d list the specific item and the brand name right next to a picture from the show. That was helpful.
Digging into Specific Brands
Started noticing some names popping up again and again. You got the super obvious ones:
- Chanel: Yeah, tons of Chanel. Bags, jackets, little tweed numbers. No surprise there, it’s Paris.
- Dior: Same thing. Very classic French luxury. Saw some Dior bags and maybe some skirts or tops.
But there was more than just the huge designer labels. I started seeing other brands mentioned:

- Maje and Sandro: These felt a bit more, I don’t know, contemporary French? Still pricey, mind you, but maybe not as insane as Chanel. Saw some dresses and tops mentioned.
- Ganni: This one’s Danish, I think? But definitely fits that colourful, slightly quirky vibe Emily has sometimes. Remembered seeing some patterned stuff linked to them.
- Polène: Kept seeing this name for some of the handbags. They have this unique structured shape.
- Carel: For shoes, especially those Mary Jane styles.
- Courrèges: Saw this linked to some of the retro-looking vinyl jackets and skirts.
- Kenzo: Mentioned for some bright, bold prints.
Accessories were key too. Like those Kangol hats Emily wore early on. And tons of different shoe brands, Louboutin for sure with the red soles, but others too.
Putting it Together
So, I basically ended up with a long list of brands. It’s a real mix. You have the super high-end aspirational stuff that makes you go “wow”, mixed with contemporary designers that give it that modern fashionista look. It’s not just one thing.
It was interesting to see how they put it all together. You can tell they really go for it with the styling. It’s not supposed to be realistic for a junior marketing exec, let’s be honest. It’s about creating a fantasy look for the show.
Finding the specific brands for specific outfits took some time, clicking around different fashion breakdown sites and cross-checking. Sometimes different sites would say different things, so you kinda have to guess which one is right. But overall, you get a pretty good picture of the labels involved. It was a fun little research project, satisfies my curiosity about where all that crazy clothing comes from!
