Alright, let me tell ya ’bout this place, this… W 11th St in NYC. I ain’t no fancy city slicker, so don’t expect no big words or nothin’. Just gonna tell it like it is, ya know?
So, this W 11th Street, it’s in this West Village place. Heard folks callin’ it “charming.” Well, I guess it is, kinda. Got these buildin’s, tall ones, six stories they say. And lots of folks livin’ in ’em. Like, one buildin’ got 18 places for people to live. Imagine that! That many folks all crammed together.
They say it’s in the “heart” of the West Village. Heart, huh? Well, I guess that means it’s where all the stuff is happenin’. Lots of eatin’ places, and places where folks drink. Trendy, they call it. Means it’s all new and fancy, I reckon. But I bet them fancy folks still gotta eat and drink just like the rest of us, ain’t that right?
Now, this NYC, they say it’s a big apple. Big apple? I seen some big apples in my time, growin’ right on the trees back home. But this city, it’s somethin’ else. Folks are always rushin’ around, like they got ants in their pants. Fast-paced, they call it. I say it’s just plain busy. Too busy for my likin’, if you ask me.
Heard tell of a place, 111 W 11th St. An apartment, they call it. Been there a long time, since 1900, they say. Got two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Sounds big, but I bet it ain’t nothin’ like the space we got back home. And the price? Lordy, they say it sold for $1,823! That’s more money than I ever seen in my life!
Then there’s these townhouses. Big houses, all fancy and whatnot. Modern and traditional, they say. Don’t know what all that means, but I bet they cost a pretty penny. And this duplex apartment, on 11th Street and Bleecker. 1800 square feet! That’s a lot of space to clean, I tell ya. Must be for rich folks, I reckon.
- W 11th Street: Lots of apartments and townhouses.
- West Village: A place with lots of restaurants and bars.
- NYC: A big, busy city.
This city, New York City, it’s got a skyline, they say. Tall buildings, I guess. And a fancy lifestyle. Well, I guess some folks like that kinda thing. But give me the peace and quiet of the countryside any day. Still, this W 11th Street, it’s somethin’ to see. All these old buildings and fancy folks. It’s a different world, that’s for sure. And right there in the middle of West Village, which sounds like everyone wants to live there, huh? Coveted, they say. Must be something special.
So, if you ever find yourself in NYC, maybe take a stroll down W 11th Street. See it for yourself. Just don’t expect me to understand all that fancy city talk, ya hear? I’m just tellin’ ya what I know, plain and simple.
Remember now, this here West Village, it’s the place to be if you like all them trendy restaurants and bars. And if you wanna walk around and see the city, well, this is a good place to start, I guess. Just watch out for them fast-walkin’ city folks; they’ll run ya right over if you ain’t careful!
Anyways, that’s about all I gotta say ‘bout W 11th St. It’s a street, got buildin’s, and folks livin’ there. Nothin’ more, nothin’ less. Just a small piece of this big city, I guess.
