Alright, alright, let’s talk about them lesbian movies. You know, the ones with the gals who like gals. I ain’t no fancy movie critic or nothin’, but I watched a few in my time, and I know what I like. Some of them are good, some are… well, let’s just say they ain’t my cup of tea.
So, what makes a good lesbian movie, you ask? Well, for me, it’s gotta have a good story, first and foremost. I don’t care if it’s about two gals fallin’ in love on a farm or two gals robbin’ a bank, as long as it keeps me interested. And it can’t be too confusing, you know? I like things simple and easy to understand.
And the acting, oh boy, the acting gotta be good. I don’t want to see no wooden faces or nothin’. I want them gals to make me believe they’re in love, or angry, or whatever they’re supposed to be feelin’. You know, like when you watch a good soap opera, and you just get sucked right in? That’s what I want.
- First off, some of them movies are real sweet. You got the ones where the gals are just figuring things out, kinda like them coming-of-age stories they call ’em. Sweet as pie, some of ‘em, showin’ the young’uns that love is love, no matter who you’re lovin’.
- Then you got your dramas, the ones that make you wanna cry your eyes out. Them ones can be tough to watch, but sometimes, you just need a good cry, you know? They show the struggles and the hardships, but also the strength and the love that can get you through anything.
- And don’t forget about the funny ones! Laughter is good medicine, they say, and some of them lesbian movies got me laughin’ till my sides hurt. It’s nice to see gals havin’ a good time and bein’ themselves, without all the drama and tears.
Now, I ain’t gonna lie, some of these movies can be a bit… racy. But hey, that’s life, ain’t it? Love is love, and sometimes love gets a little… physical. As long as it’s part of the story and not just there for show, I don’t mind. But some of them are just plain silly and make no sense at all. I turned one off the other day, it was just too much.
I remember watchin’ one movie, I think it was called “Pariah” or somethin’ like that. It was about a young gal, black gal, tryin’ to find her way in the world and figure out who she was. It was real touchin’, and it made me think about how hard it can be to be different. Another one, “Heavenly Creatures,” that one was a bit wild, but it kept me on the edge of my seat.
Best lesbian movies ain’t always easy to find, you know? Sometimes you gotta dig around a bit, ask your friends, or search on that there internet thingy. But when you find a good one, it’s like findin’ a gold nugget in a pile of rocks. It makes you feel good, makes you think, and maybe even makes you see the world a little bit different. They call it the best LGBT movies sometimes, or top LGBTQ+ films, lots of names for ‘em.
And it don’t matter if it’s a new movie or an old one, black and white or in color. What matters is the story and the characters. If they’re real and believable, then I’m hooked. I like to see stories about real people, people I can relate to, even if I ain’t never robbed a bank or fallen in love with another gal.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a good lesbian movie to watch, don’t be afraid to try somethin’ new. You might be surprised at what you find. And who knows, you might even learn a thing or two about love, life, and what it means to be true to yourself. Remember, love is love, no matter who you are or who you love. And that’s all there is to it.
And let me tell ya, these movies, they ain’t just for the gays and lesbians. They’re for anyone who likes a good story, who likes to see people bein’ themselves, and who believes that love is the most powerful thing in the world. So go on, give one a try. You might just find your new favorite movie.
So there you have it, my two cents on them lesbian movies. Like I said, I ain’t no expert, but I know what I like. And I like a good story, good acting, and a whole lotta heart. And that’s what makes a good movie, lesbian or not. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I think I’ll go find another one to watch.
