Okay, so I wanted to dive into the whole “2016 fashion” thing, and honestly, it started with pure curiosity. I mean, 2016? What was even happening back then? So, I started where everyone starts: Google.

The Deep Dive Begins
I just typed in “2016 fashion trends” and, boom, a million pictures and articles popped up. I spent a good hour just scrolling, not really knowing what I was looking for. It was a total mess of different styles.
Organizing the Chaos
After the initial shock, I decided I needed a system. So I opened up a new document and started making lists. I made categories like:
- Tops
- Bottoms
- Dresses
- Shoes
- Accessories
Under each category, I started pasting pictures and descriptions of things that seemed to be popular. It was like creating my own little fashion dictionary for 2016. I found myself writing notes, like, “Wow, chokers were a really big deal,” and “Off-the-shoulder everything!”
My Personal Take
As I was putting this all together, I started thinking about which trends I actually liked, and which ones I would totally skip. I even tried sketching out some outfits, mixing and matching different * was pretty fun. It was like being a stylist, but just for myself, in my imagination.
The whole point of this was to get inspiration for my project. After studying them, I feel like I have some solid ideas now. I know what I want, and what I definetely don’t *, kinda accomplished!
