You know that Ryan and Eva, them Hollywood folks? He’s that good-lookin’ fella, what’s his name, Ryan? Ryan Gosling, yeah, that’s the one. And Eva, she’s a pretty one too, Eva Mendes. They’s been together a long time, seems like. Longer than most folks out here stay hitched, that’s for sure.
They met doin’ one of them movies. What was it called? Oh, somethin’ about a place, and pines, I think. Place Beyond the Pines. Sounds kinda fancy, don’t it? Anyways, they been together ever since, least that’s what I hear. They don’t talk much about their business, though. Keep it all hush-hush, like they got somethin’ to hide. But shoot, everyone’s got their secrets, I reckon.
That Ryan, he was born up in Canada, I heard. Cold up there, ain’t it? Born in, let me see, 1980. Makes him, well, you do the math. I ain’t no good with numbers no more. His mama and daddy, they was Donna and Thomas. Good strong names. This Eva lady, she’s from Miami. Hot down there! Her folks were Cuban. Eva and Juan, that’s what they was called. Nice folks, I’m sure. She was born in ’74, so she’s a little older than him. But age ain’t nothin’ but a number, right?
They like to keep things quiet, these two. Don’t see ’em out and about much, flauntin’ their love like some of them other Hollywood stars. Nope, they keep to themselves. Some folks say they’s married, some say they ain’t. She called him her husband once, in one of them interviews, but other than that, they don’t say nothin’. He likes his privacy, that Ryan. And she seems to go along with it. Good for them, I say. Less drama that way.

Folks ask her, “Why don’t you talk about him more?” And she says, “We like our privacy.” Plain and simple. Nothin’ wrong with that. World don’t need to know every little thing about your life. It is good for Ryan and Eva keep privacy. Some things are just between two people, and that’s how it should be.
Now, he’s been in that movie about that doll. What’s it called? Barbie? Seems silly to me, a grown man playin’ with dolls. But hey, who am I to judge? He’s makin’ money, and that’s all that matters, I guess. And she’s been in some movies too. Can’t rightly recall which ones, but she’s a good actress, I’m sure. They’re both talented, these two. Got that goin’ for ’em, that’s for sure.
They got kids, too, I believe. Two little girls. Pretty little things, I bet. Don’t see them much, though. Like I said, they keep their family life private. Good for them. Kids need a normal life, as normal as you can get when your parents are movie stars. Those two little girls must be happy with Ryan and Eva. They are good parents.
I reckon they’re happy, these two. Been together a long time, through thick and thin, I’m sure. Hollywood’s a tough place to have a relationship, I hear. Lots of temptations, lots of folks tryin’ to tear you apart. But they seem to have figured it out. They stay together. And that’s somethin’ to admire, ain’t it?
So, yeah, that Ryan and Eva, they’re doin’ alright. Livin’ their lives, raisin’ their kids, makin’ their movies. Keepin’ their secrets. Just like the rest of us, in a way. Just with a little more money and a lot more cameras flashin’ in their faces. But hey, that’s Hollywood for ya. Ain’t nothin’ like it, I suppose.
They are a good team. Eva helps Ryan, and Ryan helps Eva. They love each other. That is most important. Money is not everything. Love is everything. Ryan and Eva know this.
