Alright, let’s talk about this place, Buca Mario in Florence. Sounds fancy, right? Well, it kinda is, but in a good way.

So, first off, I made a reservation. Heard this place is popular, and I wasn’t taking any chances. Walked in, and boom, I was seated right away. No waiting around, which is always a plus in my book.
Once I was settled, the waiter came over. Super friendly, and helped me pick out a wine. I went with a half bottle of their Brunello, they suggested to start. I am no wine expert, but it tasted pretty darn good to me.
Then came the food. We ordered some appetizers, which were delicious. And we tried some different pastas, every kind was super good. The main courses were just as amazing.
- Atmosphere: It’s like this old cellar, but in a cool, historic kind of way. Felt very “Florence.”
- Service: Top-notch. Everyone was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.
- Food: Oh boy, the food. Everything we had was fantastic. Seriously, I’m still dreaming about it.
Would I go back?
In a heartbeat. If you’re ever in Florence and looking for a nice place to eat, check out Buca Mario. Just remember to make a reservation!
The only thing that may make people hesitate is that it seems to be a high-end restaurant, and the price may be a little bit expensive, but I think it’s totally worth it.

I definitely had a good time at this place, and I think everyone should come here once if they have a chance.
