Alright, let’s talk about this Michèle Lamy woman. I heard some folks gossiping, so I figured I’d tell you what I know, you know, the way I understand it. Don’t expect no fancy words from me.

Well, from what I gather, she’s a French lady, born way back in 1944. Imagine that, older than my grandma! They say she’s into fashion and all that artsy-fartsy stuff. She’s got a daughter who’s an artist, and she’s married to this Rick Owens fella, another fashion designer. They say they work together, him designing, her doing… well, I’m not exactly sure what she does, but it’s important, they say. Executive Manager Art/Furniture, or something like that. Sounds fancy, huh?
Why are people so interested in her?
Now, this is where it gets interesting. Seems like folks think she’s real cool. Some say she’s the “coolest sexagenarian ever”. That just means she’s cool for an old lady, I guess. They like her style, even though it’s a bit… unusual. I heard tell she had some work done on her teeth, all gold and shiny. Some people think it’s weird, but others, they love it. She’s got this “exhausting optimism,” they say. I don’t know what that means, but it sounds like she’s always happy or something. And she’s got a bunch of followers on that internet thing, Instagram or whatever they call it. Half a million, can you believe it? What’s she doing, posting pictures of her dinner? I tell ya, these young folks and their phones…
What’s she up to now?
Even though she’s getting on in years, she’s still busy. She’s making movies now, artsy ones, of course. “LIMBO” they call it. I wouldn’t know nothing about that. But she’s always doing something, that’s for sure. Always working with her husband, always creating stuff. It’s like she never stops.
So, what’s the big deal?
Well, I guess she’s just one of them people who does things their own way. She doesn’t care what other folks think, and she’s not afraid to be different. And maybe that’s why people like her. She’s got her own style, her own way of doing things, and she’s stuck with it all these years. And even though I don’t understand half of it, I guess you gotta admire that, right? She’s been a clothing designer, a performer, a film producer. Seems like she’s tried a bit of everything. And she’s still going strong, even at her age. Good for her, I say. It’s better than sitting around doing nothing, that’s for sure.
