Okay, so I saw this star sheer dress online, and I was like, “I gotta have it.” It looked so cool and different. I mean, it’s basically see-through, made of this mesh stuff with little holes all over it. You could totally see through it, which made it kind of daring.

First, I ordered the dress. It took a while to arrive, but when it did, I ripped open the package like a kid on Christmas. I tried it on right away, but yeah, definitely see-through. I needed something to wear underneath.
Figuring Out What to Wear Underneath
I rummaged through my closet and found a simple nude-colored slip dress. I slipped it on under the sheer dress, and it was a perfect match. The slip covered everything that needed to be covered, but you could still see the cool star pattern and the mesh of the dress. I also tried a black camisole and some high-waisted shorts, which looked pretty edgy and cool, too.
- First try: Nude slip dress – It worked perfectly.
- Second try: Black camisole and shorts – A bit more daring, but I liked it.
Styling It Up
Next, I played around with different accessories. I threw on a pair of black boots, and it gave the whole outfit this cool, rocker-chic vibe. Then I added a simple necklace and some hoop earrings. I even tried a wide belt to cinch in the waist, which looked pretty awesome and gave the dress some shape.
Wearing It Out
I finally wore the dress out to a party last weekend. I paired it with the nude slip underneath because I wanted to play it a little safe for the first time. I got so many compliments! Everyone was asking where I got the dress. I felt super confident and stylish.
It was a fun little experiment, turning a see-through dress into a wearable outfit. Now, I can’t wait to try it with other things, maybe even layer it over jeans and a t-shirt for a more casual look.
