Okay, so, I’ve been digging into this whole 2024-2025 fashion thing. It’s a wild world out there, let me tell you! I started by just, like, scrolling through tons of fashion articles and blogs. I wanted to see what all the “experts” were saying, you know? There was a lot of noise to sort through, honestly.
Reading and Collecting
First, I grabbed a notebook and started jotting down anything that caught my eye. “Cashmere sweaters” popped up a lot. Seems like everyone’s going to be all cozy next year. And “satin skirts” too. Fancy! Then there was this whole thing about, like, a “delicate hue,” which I guess means light, soft colors. I wrote all that down.
Research and Summarizing
Then I hit up some more, uh, “reputable” sources. Some fashion site talked about a commentator, Tamara Holland. She’s apparently a big deal. She mentioned skinny jeans possibly making a comeback. Skinny jeans? Seriously? I made a note of that with a big question mark. And she was talking about Puma Speedcats, which are… shoes, I guess? Also, “modern boho.” Whatever that means. I highlighted that one to look into later.
I also found this other article that was all about “exclusive access” to fashion trends. Sounded kind of snobby, but hey, I’m here for the info. They talked about how fashion changes from year to year, which, duh. But they also mentioned that there are people who pay super close attention to what’s happening in pop culture and how people are, like, buying stuff. Makes sense, I guess. I copied some of those ideas into my notes, just in case.
Confirm and Implementation
- One website was like, “Start the new year on the right style foot!” and then listed a bunch of things, like specific colors and types of bags. I added those to my ever-growing list.
- Then there was this random article about some “Art-World Mom” and her “Messy Life.” I don’t know how that’s related to fashion trends, but I skimmed it anyway. It didn’t really tell me much about what to wear, but confirmed that the so called fashion was a mess sometimes.
So yeah, that’s where I’m at right now. I’ve got pages of notes, a bunch of random words circled, and I’m starting to see some patterns. It’s a lot of soft fabrics, maybe some light colors, and possibly a return of skinny jeans (shudder). I still need to figure out this whole “modern boho” thing, though. And the shoes. Gotta look into those shoes. It’s a process, but I’m getting there. I’ll keep you guys posted!
