Okay, so I got really into this whole Lisa Rinna 80’s vibe thing today. It all started when I was scrolling through, you know, just wasting time, and I saw this awesome picture of her back in the day. Totally rad, right?
So, first, I dug through my closet. I was hunting for anything that screamed 80’s. Think bright colors, big shoulders, maybe some leg warmers…if I even owned any.
Found a few things I thought were good enough, I think.
My Makeup Journey
Next up, the makeup. This was the fun part, and the hard part.
- I started with foundation, the usual.
- Then, I went heavy on the blush. Like, REALLY heavy. We’re talking 80’s, remember? Think bright pink, almost up to the temples.
- Eyeshadow was next. I picked a bold blue and slapped it on, no blending, just solid color.
- Lots of black eyeliner, of course. Top and bottom.
- Finally, bright red lipstick. Gotta have that classic 80’s pout!
The hair… oh boy, the hair. I teased it like crazy. I mean, I backcombed and sprayed until that thing stood up on its own. Think BIG. Think VOLUME. It was kinda scary, but also kinda awesome.
Finally, I put it all together. It was a look. A bold, bright, slightly crazy look. But hey, that’s the 80’s, right? I took some pictures. I might even post the photos, Maybe. I’m not sure, I did look a little ridiculous, haha!
It’s kindda a look that might be good for Holloween.
