Okay, here we go, let’s talk about this Rolls-Royce hood ornament thing.

My Little Project with a Rolls-Royce Hood Ornament
So, I was messing around online, just browsing, and I stumbled upon this Rolls-Royce hood ornament. You know, the “Spirit of Ecstasy” thing. It looked pretty cool, and I thought, “Why not try to get my hands on one of those?”
First thing I did was to check out some online shops, and I found a bunch of options. After looking around a bit, I found some that were from Micro Machines, and they were gold! I thought that was kind of neat, a little gold Rolls-Royce hood ornament.
Then I started reading up on shipping, ’cause that’s always a pain. One site I checked out mentioned something about using USPS Priority Mail for like $13.87. They said the delivery time is “estimated using our proprietary method which is based on the buyer’s proximity to the item location”. Sounds fancy, right?
I also found this forum, or maybe it was a club site, I don’t know, called “Welcome Rolls-Royce and Bentley Owners”. It seemed like a good place to ask around and see what people thought about these ornaments. I figured those folks would know a thing or two about it.
After digging around a bit more, I decided to go for one of the Micro Machines ones. It wasn’t super expensive, and it looked pretty good in the pictures. I placed the order and waited.

When it finally arrived, I was pretty stoked. It was smaller than I expected, but hey, it’s a Micro Machine. I spent some time just looking at it, admiring the details. It felt pretty cool to have a little piece of that Rolls-Royce luxury, even if it was just a tiny golden ornament.
So yeah, that’s my little adventure with a Rolls-Royce hood ornament. It wasn’t a huge project or anything, but it was fun, and I ended up with a cool little trinket. Now, when you want a golden Rolls-Royce hood ornament Micro Machines might be a good choice. I think maybe next time I will buy a real Rolls-Royce hood ornament.
