So, I’ve been seeing this “glamping” thing pop up everywhere lately. It’s like, camping but make it fashion, right? I decided to give it a shot because, why not? I love being outdoors, but I also love looking cute. It’s a struggle, you know?
Getting Started
First things first, I had to figure out what glamping even meant. Turns out, it’s basically camping with a bunch of extra stuff to make it more comfortable and, well, glamorous. Think fancy tents, comfy beds, and actual bathrooms. It sounded pretty good to me, so I started planning.
The Planning Phase
I booked a glamping site at this place a few hours away. It had those big canvas tents with real beds and even a little porch. I was stoked! Then came the hard part: figuring out what to wear. I mean, it’s still camping, so I needed to be practical, but I also wanted to look good for the ‘gram. I spent hours scrolling through Pinterest and Instagram, looking for inspo. I saw a lot of flowy dresses, cute hats, and denim. I was getting so many ideas!
Packing Time
I laid out all my clothes on my bed and started trying things on. I packed a couple of flowy maxi dresses that were cute but still comfy enough to hike around in. I also threw in some denim shorts and a few cute tops. And of course, I couldn’t forget a wide-brimmed hat to keep the sun out of my eyes and look stylish at the same time. I also added some accessories like a bandana, some layered necklaces, and a pair of sunglasses. I wanted to strike that balance between looking cute and being prepared for the outdoors. I added some boots, too, that were not only stylish, but also very comfortable.
The Glamping Experience
When I got to the campsite, I was amazed. It was so pretty! The tent was huge and had all sorts of amenities inside. I changed into one of my dresses and my boots and spent the day exploring. I took tons of pictures, of course. In the evening, I changed into a cozier outfit with denim shorts and a comfy top. It is all about what I was comfortable in, but still stylish of course. I sat by the fire, roasted marshmallows, and just enjoyed the peace and quiet. It was so relaxing!
Reflecting
Overall, my first glamping experience was a success! I had a great time, and I felt like I nailed the “glamping outfitglam” look. It was nice to be outdoors but still feel a little fancy. I’ll definitely be doing it again soon. I think next time, I’ll try adding even more accessories and maybe a pair of statement earrings. And a denim jacket, for sure!
