Okay, so I’ve been eyeing these white Adidas Sambas for a while now. I finally decided to grab a pair, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey.
First, I started looking online. I saw a few different versions, like the Sambae and the OG. The Sambae had a thicker sole, which I wasn’t really into. I wanted that classic, slim Samba look, so I focused on the OG. They had a “White Halo Blue Gum” option, but I wanted a plain white.
Then I started checking out different stores. One website had a big “Adidas Samba” section, but most of the shoes were either black or had some other color accents. They did have some white ones, but they were always out of my size.
I went to a few actual stores, too. No luck. Either they didn’t have Sambas at all, or they only had the men’s version. The men’s Sambas were cheaper, around $90, but I really wanted the women’s fit. I saw a “Samba XLG” for $110, but that wasn’t what I was looking for. There was also a “Samba Messi” version, but it was not what I wanted, too.
Finally, after searching for what felt like forever, I found a pair of women’s Samba OGs in white at a local sports store. They were $100, which was within my budget.
I tried them on, and they felt great. They were comfortable and looked exactly how I imagined. I decided to buy them right there.
- Went home and tried them on with a few different outfits.
- Realized they go with pretty much everything.
- Wore them out for a day of errands.
- Got a ton of compliments.
- Confirmed they’re super comfortable, even after walking around all day.
I am so glad I finally got these shoes. They were a little hard to find, but it was definitely worth the effort. I know I will be wearing these white Sambas all the time.
