Okay, so today I decided to dive into the world of fashion shows, specifically focusing on Vivienne Westwood. I’ve always been fascinated by her bold and rebellious designs, so I thought, why not try to understand a bit more about her shows?

First, I opened my browser and started with a simple search. I just typed in “Vivienne Westwood fashion shows” and hit enter. A ton of stuff popped up – articles, images, videos, you name it.
I clicked on a few links, mostly looking for videos. I really wanted to see the shows in action, not just read about them. YouTube turned out to be a goldmine. There were so many clips and even full-length runway shows!
Watching the Shows
I picked a couple of shows that looked interesting – one from a few years back and a more recent one. I wanted to see if I could spot any differences in style over time.
- First Impression: Total chaos, but in a good way! The music was loud, the models had this “I don’t care” attitude, and the clothes…wow. So many layers, patterns, and unexpected combinations.
- The Clothes: Lots of tartan, ripped fabrics, safety pins, and political slogans on T-shirts. It felt like a mix of punk rock and historical costumes. Super cool, but definitely not something you’d wear to the grocery store!
- The Models: They weren’t just walking; they were performing. Some were stomping, others were posing dramatically. It felt more like a theater show than a typical fashion show.
After watching a few shows, I started to get a better feel for Vivienne Westwood’s style. It’s all about breaking the rules, making a statement, and not being afraid to be different.
I even tried to sketch a few of the outfits, just for fun. My drawings were pretty terrible, but it helped me to pay attention to the details – like how a jacket was draped or how a skirt was layered.

So, that was my little adventure into the world of Vivienne Westwood fashion shows. It was a fun way to spend an afternoon, and I definitely learned a thing or two about her unique and rebellious style.
