Okay, so I saw this “Fashion Contest” thing popping up and thought, “Why not?” I’ve always liked putting outfits together, even if it’s just for fun. So I decided to give it a shot.
First, I rummaged through my closet. I mean, really rummaged. Clothes I hadn’t seen in years were coming out. It was like an archaeological dig, but with more sequins.
The Hunt for the Perfect Pieces
- Started with my go-to pieces, you know, the stuff I wear all the time.
- Quickly realized that wasn’t going to cut it. Needed something… extra.
- Dug deeper. Found a vintage skirt my grandma gave me. Score!
- Tried a million different combinations. Seriously, my room looked like a tornado hit it.
Then, the accessories. Oh, the accessories! I pulled out every necklace, bracelet, and pair of earrings I owned. I even considered wearing a tiara for a hot second (but decided against it. Maybe next time).
Putting It All Together
After what felt like days (but was probably just a few hours), I finally settled on a look. The vintage skirt, a simple black top, and some killer boots. Added a pop of color with a bright scarf and some chunky jewelry.
I took some photos – you know, the kind where you try to look effortlessly cool but actually take like 50 shots to get one decent one? Yeah, those.
Finally, I submitted my entry. Fingers crossed! Even if I don’t win, it was actually pretty fun to play dress-up and get out of my comfort zone. Might even make this a regular thing. Who knows, maybe I’ll be a fashion icon someday. 😉
