Okay, so I saw this prompt, “designer for kate middleton,” and I was like, “Alright, let’s see what I can cook up.” I’m no pro designer or anything, just a regular person messing around with some tools, so don’t expect anything too fancy, haha.

First thing I did was hit up Google and just searched “Kate Middleton style.” I wanted to get a feel for her usual look, you know? Lots of classic, elegant stuff popped up – tailored coats, dresses that hit just below the knee, and not too much crazy bling. Got it. Understated chic.
Next, I fired up this free online design tool I use sometimes. It’s super basic, but it does the job. I started by just sketching out a few ideas. I figured she’d probably wear something for a daytime event, so I was thinking maybe a coat dress or a simple A-line dress with a matching jacket.
I messed around with some color palettes. She wears a lot of blues and greens, so I tried a few different shades of those. Also, I threw in a cream-colored option, just because it looks so classy. I spent like, a solid hour just trying out different colors on the screen. Seriously, choosing colors is hard!
Then I started fiddling with the details. I added some little sketches of buttons, maybe a belt to cinch in the waist. I even tried drawing some hats, but they looked terrible, haha. Hats are definitely not my forte.
After a while, I landed on a design I kind of liked. It was a simple, knee-length dress in a light blue color, with a matching tailored jacket. I added some little pearl buttons to the jacket and a thin belt at the waist. I thought it looked pretty good – classic and elegant, but still modern.

I’m not gonna lie, it’s not gonna win any awards, but it was a fun little project. Who knows, maybe Kate will see it someday and be like, “Hey, that’s not bad!” Just kidding! But hey, you never know, right?
Anyway, that’s how I spent my afternoon. Just goofing around and pretending to be a fashion designer for a day. It’s a nice way to de-stress, you know?
