Well, let me tell ya, this whole “crop top men” thing, it’s somethin’ else. I ain’t never seen nothin’ like it. Back in my day, men wore shirts that covered their whole belly, you know? But these young fellas, they like showin’ off a bit of skin.
Now, I hear tell some folks say it started with them Korean singers and dancers. Them fellas, they always dressin’ up fancy and tryin’ new things. And then, seems like other fellas started copyin’ ’em. Maybe they just wanna be cool, or maybe they wanna show off their muscles. Who knows?
- It ain’t just for the skinny fellas neither. I seen some bigger boys wearin’ them shirts too. Guess it’s all about feelin’ good in your own skin, or showin’ off what ya got.
- And it ain’t just a summer thing. I seen pictures of ’em wearin’ crop tops with jackets and stuff. Guess they tryin’ to make it fancy or somethin’. Fashion, they call it. Always changin’, that fashion.
Some folks, they say men been wearin’ crop tops for a long time, back in the seventies or somethin’. Said it was about showin’ off muscles and bein’ attractive to the ladies. Maybe so. But then somethin’ happened, I hear, some sickness made folks scared. And then the men, they didn’t wanna look too fancy no more. But now, looks like it’s comin’ back.
Now, I ain’t sayin’ it’s good or bad. It’s just different. Times change, you know? What was okay yesterday might not be okay today, and what’s okay today might not be okay tomorrow. That’s just the way the world works.
But if you gonna wear one of them crop tops, you gotta do it right, I reckon. You gotta pair it with the right pants, you know? Can’t just throw on any old thing. And you gotta be confident. Can’t be walkin’ around all shy-like if you gonna show off your belly.
Some folks, they like to wear ’em with them high-waisted pants. Covers up the belly button, but still shows a little skin. Others, they like to wear ’em with jackets, make it look a little more dressed up. And some, they just like to show it all, belly button and all. To each their own, I say.
And it ain’t just for the young fellas neither. I seen some older guys tryin’ it out too. Guess they wanna feel young again, or maybe they just like the way it looks. Who am I to judge?
But one thing’s for sure, these crop tops, they here to stay for a while. At least that’s what the young folks say. They always talkin’ about trends and what’s in and what’s out. Me, I just wear what’s comfortable. But hey, if these fellas wanna wear crop tops, let ’em. It ain’t hurtin’ nobody.
So, if you see a fella walkin’ down the street wearin’ a crop top, don’t be surprised. It’s just the way things are now. Times are changin’, and fashion is changin’ right along with it. And who knows, maybe next year it’ll be somethin’ else. Maybe everyone will be wearin’ overalls or somethin’. You just never know.
But for now, the crop tops are here, and the men are wearin’ ’em. And that’s all there is to it.
Just remember, be confident, pick the right pants, and you’ll be alright. Or maybe just wear what makes you happy. Ain’t that what they always sayin’ these days?
