Okay, so I’ve been obsessed with “Game of Thrones” lately, right? And not just the show, but the costumes! They’re so freaking cool. I decided, “You know what? I’m gonna try to get some of these outfits.”
First, I hit up the usual places. I searched for “Game of Thrones costumes” on some shop website, and they had a bunch of stuff. I saw some dragon queen outfit that looked pretty neat, but it wasn’t exactly what I was looking for.

Then, I remembered that I can search for “Game of Thrones dress” specifically. I did another search using that term, and boom! I found a few more options. Some of them were custom-made, which was really tempting. I imagined myself wearing one of those to a party or something.
I kept digging around, trying different search terms like “GoT costumes” and “House of the Dragon costumes”. I even checked out a store called “Spirit Halloween” because I saw they had an Aemon Targaryen costume. It was officially licensed, which was a plus, but again, not exactly my style.
Scouring Online Marketplaces
I also browsed through some other online marketplaces. I found a bunch of listings for used costumes, which was cool because they were cheaper. I considered buying one of those, but I was a little worried about the quality. I mean, you never know what you’re gonna get with used stuff, you know?
I spent a good few hours on this whole costume hunt. I even found a website that lists where to buy clothes worn on the actual show! Like, the actual wardrobe they used! It was more for inspiration, though, because those things are probably crazy expensive.
Finally, I decided to go back to the custom-made idea. I found a seller who had some really amazing-looking dresses. I messaged them and asked a bunch of questions about sizing and materials. They were super helpful, and I ended up ordering a Khaleesi-inspired dress.
It took a few weeks to arrive, but when it did, I was so excited! I tried it on immediately, and it fit perfectly! I felt like a total queen. Now I just need to find the perfect occasion to wear it. Maybe I’ll just wear it around the house, who knows?
