Alright, so, I’ve been messing around with some colors for the Spring 2025 season. Yeah, I know, it’s a bit early, but hey, it’s always fun to see what’s coming up, right?

First, I started by looking at what the big shots are doing. I mean, I checked out Gucci’s show, and they are really pushing some interesting stuff. Pantone’s color of the year seemed a bit, you know, old news, but the runways are showing something totally different.
Then, I dug into Pantone’s Spring/Summer 2025 stuff. They’re talking about this mix of colors that are inspired by nature and all that. Sounds pretty chill, and it looks like they’re gonna be easy to wear. So, I grabbed some fabric swatches – mostly heavier stuff like suede and leather, ’cause it’s still kinda chilly out. But I did pick up some lighter stuff too, thinking ahead.
I played around with some combinations. You know, like putting colors that are next to each other on the color wheel together, or colors that are opposite each other. Like, blue with purple, or yellow with green. It’s kinda cool how that works. After messing around, I decided to stick to a few color schemes to keep things looking sharp.
My little experiment went something like this:
- Mixing it up: I paired some bright, loud colors with softer ones. Think fiery reds with some quiet, earthy tones. It’s like, bam, look at me, but also, I’m chill.
- Neutrals are still in: I noticed grey is still a thing for 2025, which is cool. And black and white are always a safe bet. Classic.
- Menswear but fun: I saw this trend where menswear is getting all playful with bright colors and funky patterns. I’m not really into tailored stuff, but oversized blazers and pleated trousers in bold colors? Maybe I could give that a go.
Honestly, it was just a lot of trial and error. I laid out all the swatches, moved them around, swapped some out. It was a whole process. But it’s kinda fun to see what works and what doesn’t. I even tried putting together a few outfits in my head, just to see if I could actually wear this stuff. I haven’t really worn this many colors for a while, but I guess I need some new challenges.
So yeah, that’s my little color adventure for Spring 2025. It’s still early days, but it’s got me thinking about what I might wear next year. Who knows, maybe I’ll actually end up wearing some of these crazy color combos. We’ll see!
