2010 Nissan 370z Nismo Specs: Everything You Need to Know is Here!

Alright, so I’ve been messing around with this Nissan 2010 370Z Nismo lately, and let me tell you, it’s been a ride. I figured I’d share my little project with you all, step by step. It all started with me just wanting to get under the hood of this beauty. I mean, it’s a Nismo, right? It’s begging to be tinkered with.

Getting Started

First things first, I popped the hood. Just looking at that engine made me want to get my hands dirty. I started simple. Checked all the fluids – oil, coolant, brake fluid, you name it. Everything looked pretty good, which was a relief. I did not want to deal with a bunch of leaks and stuff.

Taking a Closer Look

Then I went on to remove the air intake. It was actually pretty easy. It was just a few bolts and clamps holding it in place. I pulled that bad boy out. After that, I decided to give the throttle body a good cleaning. It was definitely a bit grimy. I got some throttle body cleaner and a soft brush and went to town. It took a while, but it was good to see all that gunk come off.

The Real Work

Next, I got it on my mind to check out the spark plugs. It took some time to get them removed, I decided to replace them. They were pretty worn out anyway. Putting the new ones in was easy.

Putting It Back Together

After that, it was time to put everything back together. Reinstalled the throttle body and hooked the air intake back up. I made sure all the connections were tight and secure. And I do not want any air leaks or anything. It was all good and clear. Started up the engine and listened to it purr. I made it, I felt accomplished.

  • Checked and topped off fluids
  • Removed and cleaned air intake
  • Cleaned the throttle body
  • Inspected and replaced spark plugs
  • Put everything back together

This whole process was actually pretty fun. It’s always satisfying to get your hands dirty and actually do something yourself. Plus, I feel like I know my car a little better now. I hope you enjoy my little sharing, and see you next time!
