Okay, so I wanted to dive into 2009 men’s fashion. Honestly, I didn’t really know where to start, I just had this idea that it would be cool to see what guys were wearing back then.
My Little Research Journey
First, I hit up Google, just typed in “2009 fashion trends men” and stuff like that. I scrolled through a bunch of image results. It was kind of a mess, a real mix of everything.
Then, I started looking at some old magazines, the physical copies, it felt better to browse something real.
I spent a good few hours just flipping pages and really looking at the photos. It wasn’t about reading articles, more about observing.
What I Noticed
- Slim-fit was everywhere: Jeans, shirts, even suits. Everything seemed to be cut pretty close to the body.
- Lots of layering: I saw guys wearing, like, a t-shirt, then a button-down shirt left open, maybe even a light jacket on top.
- V-necks: Deep v-neck t-shirts were surprisingly popular. I remember that!
- Bold colors and patterns: Plaids, stripes, even some brighter colors that I wouldn’t expect.
- Accessories: Scarves in particular and there were quite a few hats.
It made me change the way I dress in my daily life. It’s kinda my hobby now.
