Alright, let’s talk about those Chanel pictures I was messing around with today. It wasn’t some grand artistic endeavor, just me trying to get some decent-looking images.
First things first, I grabbed my camera. Nothing fancy, just my trusty old phone. Then, I rummaged through my stuff and found a Chanel perfume bottle and a small Chanel bag. Figured those would be my subjects.
Next up was finding a spot with decent light. My apartment isn’t exactly a photographer’s studio, so I ended up near a window. The natural light was okay, not great, but workable. I played around with different angles, trying to avoid harsh shadows.
I started snapping away. Took a bunch of photos of the perfume bottle on its own, then some with the bag. Tried different backgrounds – a plain white wall, a wooden table, even just a random piece of fabric I had lying around.
After I had a ton of photos, I uploaded them to my laptop and started going through them. Most were garbage, honestly. Bad lighting, blurry, weird angles. But there were a few that had potential.
I fired up my basic photo editing software – nothing crazy, just the stuff that comes standard on my computer. I cropped the images, adjusted the brightness and contrast, and sharpened them a bit. Nothing too drastic, just trying to make them look a little cleaner and more professional.
Then I messed around with some filters. Just to see what would happen. Some looked cool, others were terrible. I ended up settling on a pretty subtle filter that just added a little bit of warmth to the pictures.
Finally, I saved the edited photos and took a look at them on my phone. They weren’t perfect, but they were definitely better than what I started with. Good enough for sharing, I suppose.
