Okay, so I’ve been wanting to clean my Off-White Jordan 1s for a while now. They’re the white ones, and man, they get dirty fast. I wore them out a couple of times, and they already looked like I’d been trekking through mud. Not a good look.

Getting Started
First, I gathered my supplies. I didn’t want to use anything too harsh that might damage the material, so I went with:
- A soft-bristled brush (an old toothbrush works great)
- Some gentle dish soap
- A bowl of warm water
- A few microfiber cloths
The Cleaning Process
I started by taking out the laces. Those were pretty grimy too, so I soaked them in a separate bowl of soapy water.
Next, I took the brush, dipped it in the warm, soapy water, and gently started scrubbing the shoes. I worked in small circular motions, paying extra attention to the areas with visible dirt and scuff marks. The toe box and the sides were the worst.

It took a bit of elbow grease, but I could see the dirt coming off. I kept rinsing the brush in clean water and going back over the spots until they looked better.
Once I was satisfied with the scrubbing, I used a clean, damp microfiber cloth to wipe down the entire shoe, removing any remaining soap residue.
Then I used a dry Microfiber cloth to dry it.
Finishing Up
After the shoes were clean, I left them to air dry. I stuffed them with some paper towels to help them keep their shape. I didn’t put them in direct sunlight or near a heater, because I heard that could damage them.
For the laces, I just rinsed them thoroughly and hung them up to dry.

It took a few hours, but once they were completely dry, they looked so much better! Not brand new, but definitely presentable again. I re-laced them, and they were good to go. I’m definitely going to try to clean them more often so they don’t get so bad in the first place.
