Picking Out the Pieces
First things first, I needed a dress. I dug through my closet and found this simple, flowy black dress. It’s nothing fancy, just a basic, comfortable one that I usually wear on its own. I thought it would be a good base for the corset, since it wouldn’t clash too much.
Then came the corset hunt. I didn’t want anything too extreme, you know, like those super-cinched, Victorian-era ones. I just wanted something that would add a bit of shape and definition. I ended up grabbing a faux leather one from my drawer – it’s black, with some simple boning, and it laces up in the back.
Putting It All Together
Okay, time for the moment of truth. I put on the dress, and then came the slightly tricky part: getting the corset on over it. It took a bit of wiggling and adjusting, I gotta admit.
