So, I’ve been meaning to update my wardrobe recently, and you know, dresses are always a good idea. I heard that Tesco is bringing back their F&F clothing line online, which is pretty cool because I remember it was taken down a while ago. I used to see F&F stuff on the Next website until January, but now it’s mostly just in some Tesco stores.

Anyway, I started digging around to see what’s trendy in dresses right now. Turns out, it’s all about bold prints and asymmetrical patterns. And colors? The brighter, the better! I saw a lot of stuff about statement sleeves too, which I think are super fun. Also, cocktail gowns and midi dresses are still in, which is great for more formal occasions.
I usually do most of my clothes shopping in physical stores. So I looked for dresses that had these styles. I made a list of the latest trends and started checking out different stores.
- First, I went to a couple of local boutiques.
- Then, I hit up some department stores to see what they had.
- I even popped into a few thrift stores because you never know what gems you might find, and it’s good for the planet, right?
My Little Experiment with Abercrombie & Fitch
I also decided to give Abercrombie & Fitch another shot. I know, I know, it used to be that “popular mall brand,” but I heard they’ve revamped their style, and I was curious. And guess what? I was pleasantly surprised! They had some really nice dresses that fit the trends I was looking for. I ended up grabbing a couple of pieces from there, and I’m pretty happy with them.
After a few days of hunting, I’ve got a nice little collection of new dresses. I made sure to try everything on, walk around in them, and even do a little twirl test – you know, just to make sure they move well and feel good. It was a bit of a process, but totally worth it. Now I feel like my wardrobe is all set with some fresh, stylish dresses!
