So, I got hooked on “Emily in Paris”, like a lot of people, I guess. And one thing that stuck with me was Savoir, the marketing company Emily works for. It looked so chic, right there in the heart of Paris. Got me thinking, is that place even real? Not the company, obviously, but the office building, the location.

I had some free time, and the idea just wouldn’t leave my head. I decided, okay, let’s make this a little project. Find the Savoir building. See what’s actually there when the cameras aren’t rolling.
Kicking Off the Hunt
First thing I did was pull up the show again. Not to watch the whole thing, just skipped around to the scenes outside the Savoir office. Needed some visual clues. I remembered it was near some fancy garden, Palais Royal maybe? And it had this distinct courtyard entrance.
My process went something like this:
- Rewatched key arrival/departure scenes at Savoir multiple times. Paused a lot.
- Tried to spot street signs or unique architectural details nearby. Tough, they frame shots pretty tightly sometimes.
- Searched online using descriptions like “Emily in Paris office location” or “Savoir building courtyard Paris”. Yeah, I know, pretty basic start.
- Looked at maps of the area around Palais Royal Garden, trying to match the courtyard shape and surrounding buildings shown briefly in the series.
Took a bit of virtual wandering, scanning streets and squares near the garden. Lots of nice places, but nothing clicked immediately. Then, bingo. I landed on a little square, Place de Valois. The layout, the arches, the building facade – it looked exactly right.
The Real Deal Spot
So, the actual filming location for the exterior shots of Savoir is at Place de Valois, tucked away right next to the Palais Royal. It’s a quiet, elegant little square. The building used for Savoir is there, looking very much like it does in the show, very classic Parisian architecture.

Of course, there’s no “Savoir” sign. The ground floor isn’t a bustling French marketing agency entrance. When I looked into it, the building houses different things. I think there’s an art gallery or antique dealer or something like that in the spot that’s supposed to be the entrance. It’s much quieter in reality than the show makes it seem with characters constantly rushing in and out.
It felt kind of cool, piecing it together and finding the actual spot. A bit strange, too, standing (virtually, in my case) in a real place that’s famous for being fictional. It just reminds you how much TV magic goes into creating these worlds. They picked a beautiful spot, no doubt, but the Savoir vibe? That’s pure Hollywood… well, Hollywood-on-the-Seine.
Anyway, that was my little adventure tracking down Savoir. A fun diversion, and kinda satisfying to connect the show to a real piece of Paris, even if the reality is less glamorous than Emily’s life.
