Okay, so I wanted to try making this fancy menu I saw online called “The Greyson Menu.” Looked kinda complicated, but I was up for the challenge. Let me tell you how it went down.

First things first, I grabbed the recipe. It was buried in some food blog, but I finally found it. Then came the fun part – the grocery store trip. The list was long, and I spent like an hour just trying to find all the weird ingredients. Seriously, who needs five different types of vinegar?
Got everything back home and started prepping. The recipe said “finely chop” like a million times. My knife skills aren’t exactly professional chef level, so that took way longer than I expected. My eyes were watering from all the onions I had to chop! I almost gave up at that point, but I was determined to see this thing through.
The next step involved some kind of fancy reduction sauce. I basically dumped a bunch of liquids into a pot and waited for it to thicken. Let me tell you, patience is not my strong suit. I almost burned the whole thing a couple of times, but luckily I caught it just in time. Stirring constantly is key, people!
Then came the main course. It involved some sort of complicated layering technique. I tried my best to follow the instructions, but honestly, it looked nothing like the picture in the recipe. Oh well, as long as it tastes good, right?
Finally, everything was ready. I plated it up as nicely as I could (again, not a pro), and took a bite. Honestly? It was pretty damn good! All that chopping and stirring was actually worth it. It was a bit too rich for my taste, maybe I’ll use less butter next time.

Cleaned up the kitchen, which looked like a bomb had exploded. Seriously, cooking is messy business. But hey, I made “The Greyson Menu,” and I actually pulled it off! I’d say that’s a win.
