Okay, so I saw this “temu snl skit” thing trending and, like everyone else, I had to check it out. First, I just went straight to YouTube.
I just typed “temu snl skit” into the search bar. Boom! A bunch of results popped up, so many videos!
I clicked on the one that seemed to be the actual SNL clip – you know, the one from the official Saturday Night Live channel. I wanted to see the real deal first before diving into any reaction videos or anything.
Watching the Skit
So, I watched the whole skit. It was… something. I mean, the costumes were definitely bright, all orange and, like, super sparkly. And the song, okay, don’t even get me started on that earworm! It’s still stuck in my head. “Shop like a billionaire”… right.
Checking Out Reactions
After I watched the actual skit, I went back to YouTube and looked at some of the reaction videos. I just wanted to see what other people thought, you know? It’s always fun to see if everyone else is as confused/amused/annoyed as you are.
Some people were really into it, saying it was hilarious and clever. Others were, well, less impressed. Lots of comments about the song being annoying, and some people were even a little weirded out by the whole thing.

Diving Deeper (a Little)
I also did a quick search on, I think it was, just to see if there was any, like, “official” commentary on it. There’s a ton of news snippets with reactions from the skit, not much else.
My Final Thoughts
Honestly, I’m still not sure what to think. The skit was definitely memorable, I’ll give it that. It was catchy, super bright, and a little bit… unsettling? I guess that’s kind of their point, right? It’s supposed to be a bit over-the-top and make you think. Or maybe not. Maybe it’s just supposed to be silly. I don’t know. I definitely ended up scrolling through Temu for like 20 minutes afterward, though, so… mission accomplished, I guess?
