This morning I grabbed my coffee and plopped down on the couch thinking about Taylor at award shows. Been replaying Grammys highlights in my head ever since she announced Midnights won Album of the Year again. Figured why not dig through all her red carpet Grammys looks? Wanted to pick my absolute faves.
The Hunt Begins
First I opened my laptop and started Googling old Grammys pics. Searched “Taylor Swift Grammys outfits every year” like some kinda fashion detective. Scrolled forever – man she’s been to so many! My phone gallery’s now clogged with screenshots. Ended up with 47 different dresses dating back to her teen years. Felt like I needed a nap already.
Picking Standouts
Printed all those photos and spread them across my kitchen table. Made coffee round two. Started grouping by color first – all gold dresses here, silvers there. Realized that didn’t help at all. Nearly tripped over my cat when stepping back to compare. Finally just asked myself: which ones would I actually wear?

- The glittery rainbow jumpsuit when she won for 1989? Iconic.
- 2010’s purple sparkly mini-dress that screamed teen princess? Adorable.
The Great Debate
Taped top five contenders to my bedroom mirror. Called my sister yelling “PICK YOUR FAVORITE!” She kept saying “the green one” without specifying which dang green. Almost threw glitter at her through the phone. Finally settled on rankings after rearranging pics on my floor like a mosaic.
Printed my final list with little notes about why each dress slayed. Stuck ‘em in my journal beside ticket stubs from her concert. Accidentally spilled coffee on the page about the 2013 Oscar de la Renta gown – typical. Just blotted it while laughing at myself. Might frame the less-stained pages later.
