Okay, so I wanted to dive into the whole “2016 fashion” thing. It’s kinda fun to look back, right?
First, I started by just Googling “2016 fashion trends.” Seriously, that’s it. Just a simple search to get the ball rolling.
My Research Process
I opened a bunch of tabs. Like, a LOT of tabs. Mostly fashion blogs and those online magazine things. I skimmed through, looking for pictures and descriptions of what was supposedly “in” back then. I noticed that many styles of clothing were described, such as Athleisure,Bomber Jackets,Cold-Shoulder Tops and so on.

I remember everyone was wearing sporty stuff, even if they weren’t going anywhere near a gym. Yoga pants, sneakers, hoodies – the whole deal. Super comfy, I gotta admit.
These were EVERYWHERE. Different colors, materials… satin, nylon, you name it. I think I even had a green one.
Those shirts and dresses with the cutouts on the shoulders. It was like, a little bit revealing, but not too much.
I also tried to remember what I was wearing back then. I looked through some old photos on my phone and, yeah, there’s definitely some evidence of those trends. I can confirm I definitely contributed to the bomber jacket craze.
Putting it all Together
After gathering all this, I just started writing down my thoughts. What I remembered, what I saw in the pictures, what the articles were saying. It was kinda like putting together a puzzle, trying to get a clear picture of what 2016 fashion was all about.
It’s funny, because fashion changes so fast. What was cool then might look totally dated now. But it’s still fun to look back and see how things have evolved. Plus, some of those 2016 trends might even be making a comeback – you never know!
