Okay, so today I messed around with this “dressedundressed” thing. It sounded kinda weird, but I was curious, so I jumped in.

First, I tried to figure out what it even was. I mean, the name doesn’t give you much, right? It’s all about layers, apparently. You start with something basic, then add and remove stuff to change the whole vibe.
My Experiment
I grabbed a plain white t-shirt and some black jeans. Super simple, my go-to lazy outfit.
- Step 1: The Base. Just the t-shirt and jeans. Nothing special.
- Step 2: Add a Flannel. I threw on a red and black flannel shirt, unbuttoned. Instantly, it felt more… casual-cool, I guess?
- Step 3: Leather jacket on the scene. I replaced the flanned with a leather jacket. Now it changed to some cool style.
- Step 4: Remove the T-shirt. I took off the t-shirt under the flannel. This was surprisingly…okay. A little more edgy.
- Step 5: Back to Basics. I put the t-shirt back on and took off everything else. It’s good for a quick grocery.
I did more try, but it is similar to the above steps.
Honestly, it was kinda fun! Like playing dress-up, but in a slightly more “adult” way. I realized it’s all about how you combine things, and even small changes can make a big difference.
I think I’ll keep playing with this. It’s a good way to get more out of my wardrobe without buying a ton of new stuff. Plus, it’s just a fun little creative outlet. Might even try some different color combinations next time. Who knows, maybe I’ll even get brave and try a skirt or something!
