Okay, so I wanted to recreate that iconic 90s supermodel look, specifically Naomi Campbell in her younger days. I’ve been seeing those pictures all over my feed, and I just had to give it a shot.

Getting Started
First, I dug through my makeup stash. I don’t really have a “collection,” more like a random assortment of stuff I’ve accumulated over the years. I knew I needed a good foundation, some concealer, definitely some bronzer, and a bold lip liner.
The Process
- I started with a clean face, obviously. Then, I applied a moisturizer. Gotta keep that skin hydrated!
- Next, I went in with a foundation that’s maybe a shade or two darker than my natural skin tone. I remember seeing that Naomi always had this perfectly sculpted, almost bronzed look, so I was trying to mimic that.
- I used my fingers to blend it all in. I don’t really use brushes that often, I just find my fingers work better. Plus, it’s quicker.
- Then came the concealer. I dabbed some under my eyes and on any little blemishes I had.
- After that, the fun part! I took my bronzer – it’s a shimmery one, because why not? – and applied it to my cheekbones, temples, and jawline. Trying to get that chiseled look, you know?
- For my eyes, I kept it pretty simple. I just applied a wash of a neutral, slightly shimmery eyeshadow all over my lids.
- The lips were the most important part, I think. I lined my lips with a dark brown lip liner, really overlining them to get that full, pouty look. Then I filled them in with a slightly lighter, nude lipstick.
- I applied mascara to make my eyes pop a little more.
The Result
Honestly, I was pretty happy with how it turned out! It wasn’t perfect, but it definitely gave me that 90s supermodel vibe. It was fun to try something different and step outside of my usual makeup routine. Maybe I’ll even try it again sometime, but with a few tweaks. It’s all about experimenting, right?
