So I decided to dig into Nick and Priyanka’s whole relationship timeline yesterday. Woke up thinking about celebrity power couples and grabbed my laptop still in pajamas.
Starting Point
First I checked Priyanka’s Twitter from summer 2018. Scrolled forever finding that DM she sent Nick: “My mom thinks we should get married”. Almost spilled coffee seeing how bold that was. Imagine sliding into DMs with that line!
Connecting Dots
Took three hours cross-referencing their Instagram archives. Noticed both posted sunglasses selfies within 10 days back in May 2016. Could be coincidence but their Mexico vacation pics from August 2017 had same palm trees in background. Bingo!
Strange things I found:
- They met at 2017 Met Gala but Priyanka thought Nick was drunk
- He proposed after just 2 months of dating at Crete sunset
- Wedding had 5 events across 2 countries in December 2018
Wedding Chaos
Tried making spreadsheet for their wedding ceremonies. Complete mess! Western wedding in Jodhpur, Hindu ceremony after, then separate Christian vows. Forgot Indian weddings last multiple days and kept mixing up sangeet with mehndi events.
Realization hit when I saw Nick’s bandmates weren’t groomsmen. They didn’t understand Indian wedding customs either! Whole Jonas family looked confused holding garlands during saat phere ritual.
Final Twist
Here’s the crazy part: spent so long tracking their story that my own date night got cancelled. Girlfriend texted “You care more about Nick’s love life than ours.” Can’t even argue – Priyanka’s mom’s DM game is stronger than mine. Maybe I should take notes.
