Okay, so I’ve been eyeing Ami Paris for a while now, especially their 2023 stuff. I finally decided to take a deep dive and see what all the fuss was about. Let me tell you, it was a journey!
Getting Started
First, I just started by browsing. You know, just window shopping online. I looked at their official site, and then poked around on some other online stores that carry the brand. I wanted to get a good feel for the different pieces they had and the general vibe of the collection.
Digging Deeper
After I had a basic idea, I started to focus on specific items. I was really drawn to their knitwear, so I spent a lot of time looking at the different sweaters and cardigans. I checked out the materials they were made of, and tried to get a sense of the fit from the pictures.

Making Decisions
This was the hard part! I had a bunch of things in my virtual cart, but I knew I couldn’t get everything. I started to narrow it down based on what I really needed (or, you know, really wanted). I also thought about what would fit best with my existing wardrobe. Which will be worn a * is important!
The Final Result
I ended up ordering a couple of pieces – a classic crewneck sweater and a pair of their trousers. I’m still waiting for them to arrive, but I’m super excited! It took a while to go through everything, but I feel like I made some good choices. Hopefully, the stuff looks as good in person as it did online!
