Misfit for Beginners: Everything You Need to Know Now

Okay, so I recently started messing around with this “Misfit” thing, and I gotta say, it’s been a bit of a ride. At first, I had no clue what I was doing, I just wanted to see what this was all about.

So I found this Misfit thing, it is kind of like, you know, a tracker? I did see something called “Misfit Flash”, but I’m not sure if that is what I tried. Anyway, I guess it’s supposed to help with, like, getting fit and stuff. I started reading about it, and it sounded pretty cool, so I thought, “Why not give it a shot?”

First things first, I had to set it up, right? I had to do a little reading to figure it out, but I went through their guide and it was mostly smooth. I signed up and started to get the feel for it. I even saw something about “Phase I Program” and something about the “2022 Season”, I am not sure if I am too late for that now, but I went for it anyway.

Then came the part where I had to actually use it. I started wearing it, and it was tracking all my steps, how much I was sleeping, all that jazz. At first, I was like a kid with a new toy, checking it all the time. I was even sharing it with my friends, telling them to check it out. I think I saw some of my friends join, too!

  • It was interesting to see all the data, like how many steps I was taking and how much I was moving around.
  • It made me realize I was kind of a lazy bum, to be honest.
  • I started trying to hit those step goals and get more active, which was pretty cool.
  • I’ve also been trying to use it to improve my sleep, which is something I’ve always struggled with.

I gotta say, it’s been a pretty good motivator to get me off my butt. And I started to feel like a real “misfit” in the best way, like someone who’s doing their own thing and not following the crowd.

The Results?

So far, so good. I’ve definitely been more active since I started using it. I even got into watercolor painting somehow. I am not sure how that happened, maybe just trying new things. I even thought about calling myself a “Watercolor Misfit”, haha. I’m not sure if I’ll stick with it forever, but for now, it’s been a fun experiment. It’s like I’m part of this little community of misfits, all trying to get better and do our own thing. And that’s pretty awesome, if you ask me.

I’m still figuring it all out, but hey, that’s part of the fun, right? We’ll see where this misfit journey takes me!
