Okay, so, I’ve been meaning to share this for a while now, and since I finally got around to organizing my notes, here goes. A few months back, I decided to embark on a little adventure to find Matthew Perry’s house in Hollywood Hills. You know, the “Friends” star? Yeah, that one. I heard that he bought this place sometime last year, and it was on the market again after, well, you know.

So, first things first, I did some digging online. Just a basic search, nothing fancy. Typed in something like “Matthew Perry house Hollywood Hills.” Found out that the house was a midcentury-modern style. Fancy, right? It was purchased for just under $5 million. Man, I wish I had that kind of money to throw around! Anyway, I found some listings, some news articles, you name it. They all talked about how it was this beautiful, sun-drenched place built in, like, 1957. Classic design, they called it.

Next, I had to figure out the exact location. Now, I’m not about to give out the address, because, you know, privacy and all that. But, let’s just say it wasn’t too hard to find with a little bit of online sleuthing. After I pinned down the location, I hopped in my car and started driving. I’m not going to lie, driving through Hollywood Hills is always a bit of an experience. The winding roads, the views, the sheer size of some of these houses – it’s wild.

Finally, I arrived at the street. It was pretty quiet, very residential, which I guess makes sense. I parked a little way down, didn’t want to be too obvious, you know? I walked up to where the house should be, and there it was. It looked just like the pictures I saw online. All sleek lines, big windows, that whole midcentury vibe. The asking price was said to be three-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom home.

  • First Impression: It was smaller than I expected, to be honest. Not small, but not as huge as some of the other houses in the area. But definitely stylish.
  • The Vibe: It felt very private, very secluded. There were a lot of trees around, which I guess added to the privacy.
  • Taking it all in: I stood there for a few minutes, just taking it all in. I mean, this was a house that a celebrity, a “Friends” star no less, had lived in. It felt a little surreal.

After a while, I decided to head back. I didn’t want to overstay my welcome, even though I was just standing on the sidewalk. I got back in my car and drove off, feeling like I had accomplished something, even if it was just satisfying my own curiosity.

Final Thoughts

It was a fun little adventure, and it was cool to see a piece of Hollywood history, even if it was just from the outside. I later learned that his estate had lowered the price of the home, but I never learned what happened to it. Anyway, that’s my story of how I found and saw Matthew Perry’s house in Hollywood Hills. Hope you enjoyed it!
